My best friend/f**kbuddy/friend-with-benefits died four months ago from massive internal injuries resulting from a motorcycle accident. The days following his death and leading up to his funeral were fraught with endless family dramas and issues, so I made a concerted effort to remove myself from having any input into the arrangements. Except for one aspect. I asked to have his favourite reggae CD, which was dutifully retrieved from his car by his brother, played before the funeral service during the viewing of the body in the casket.
